The third song from Siddharth Anand’s aerial action film Fighter is an ode to air force pilots.

The Heer song features Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone and is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. It’s an upbeat, dance number with a fusion of Indian classical and modern electronic music.

The song’s lyrics poetically compare the lead characters’ love to that of the tragic romantic folk legend of Heer-Ranjha. While I cannot reproduce the lyrics, the song incorporates elements of Punjabi folk music and Sufi qawwali styles.

The choreography showcases both actors’ dancing talents and striking chemistry. Overall the song garnered praise for its catchy music, extravagant visuals, and the lead stars’ performances.

It was considered one of the highlights of the Fighter soundtrack.
